Profile of a graduate ✫

Passionate:

Art is my passion. It has been this way since my youth, and I have always been absolutely fascinated by the many forms it took. Literature is a form of art and one which I came to enjoy immensely as I progressed through life.  For me this wasnt providing escapes to fantastical worlds but ways to deal with the ones we face every day. I have always managed to incorporate my passions into what I do, be it my projects or conversations, because I believe that our passions are a reflection of our selves.

Lifelong learners:

This was not only going to become an end product for me but a continuation of a journey I never imagined I would be provided the opportunity to take. I've incorporated the creation of this project into many other aspects of my life ...be it my art projects or my volunteer positions. Even simply reading novels that could aid in gaining a better insight into the world authors so beautifully craft, I have always been a passionate learner so this is a feat I will continue to craft and work on as time passes.

Problem solvers:

There were struggles, many of them. Through every problem that came, I had to sit and reflect on what step I would take to overcome it, however seeking the opinions of others is also imperative when taking on such hurdles. I am not the type of person who enjoys challenges, if all goes a smooth sailing I would be happy, but with creating a piece of work to be interpreted and consumed by others I don't believe that is possible. That is why this helped me accept the challenges and focus my energy into solving instead of running from them.

Reflective: A trait I could say I attribute without hesitation is being reflective. I tend to always sit with myself and reflect on the occurrences in my life. It helps with deciding my next steps. Through the entirety of this project, reflection was an even more prominent player than it once was in my life. I found myself wondering about the real reason I was so passionate about writing this book, and the future I see associated with it. I ultimately decided that this was not only a project to prove to myself the capabilities I hold but to also hopefully leave a positive impact on whomever it may concern.
