October: This marked the beginning of the projects and decisions regarding our topics of choice, as well as formulating advisor proposals, I reached out to Miss greenwood with a couple of ideas regarding my project, and if you read the message you might realize I didn't end up going with any of the options I proposed, and that's fine since this project is all about adaption. I also formulated an outline of what I thought my story should look like and got some feedback regarding that.

December: the third meeting and the completion of the first draft of the first chapter, since it was the winter break me and my advisor could not meet, therefore we communicated through teams, and I received valuable feedback. This draft was completely scrapped and you can scan through and compare it to the completed first chapter i shared to see the difference, it is a mark of the constant revision done to the story

February: I completed work on a third chapter and met with my advisor to discuss the contents of that chapter, as well I proposed the idea of the inclusion of a visual piece to accompany the written piece.

March: Through March, I met with a writer who is an ELA teacher at Bh currently ( Miss Greenhill) and she gave me lots of feedback and helpful comments regarding my work and pov, aswell I was advised to look out for grammar and punctuation.

April:  completed the 5th chapter and final one of the novel, I met with my advisor and placed emphasis on the idea of adding a visual piece to take attention away from the writing as I didn't view it as satisfactory, it was then that I received the advice that changed my perspective on the whole process. Miss Greenwood told me that the process of this whole project is what matters the most and the work and research I put into crafting this story could be its own project. I set aside ideas for the visual and focused on perfecting the chapters I completed ( the image I attached where some ideas for possible accompanying visuals)

May: The finish line was fast approaching, I met with my advisor to discuss the completions and final edits, as well as making the decsicion to share the two chapters I felt most proud of and designing a cover to as well display some of my passion in art. I then started adding all the work I've been accumulating this year to my website
